Have you ever just scrolled your mini feed on Facebook or Instagram for hours or received a friend request and had no clue how or why they were interested in you or your page? Well, I’m all for the lurking and even the genuine people that see your vision and believe in you, or just like what you post. My strongest relationships and community-love have come from those that follow my social media or hit the like button, and I follow back.
So lets rewind. Last year after stepping into blogging and starting my social media I got a request via Instagram from a new company here in Colorado called, “Hydrate IV Bar,” located in the Bonnie Brae area off University Blvd In Denver. I remember following back and wondering what the heck is an IV bar? Now, after being in Healthcare for over four years, the title took me by surprise. Why would someone go to an IV Bar willingly? Hell, people aren’t typically open to being stuck. Everything about this place caught my eye so I began scrolling through their feed and was taken by surprise seeing people smiling in a rustic, laid back, homey environment.
Question is: why are people so interested in this company and what the hell is the benefit? To the internet I go, googling and searching. My findings were incredible! The benefit to this service was huge and now I had to reach out and schedule a visit. Who would have known that from a simple follow on Instagram, to a DM (direct message), an amazing relationship would grow! My appointment was set and my husband and I were super excited to be a part of a new experience. But low-key I was worried. From the moment we walked in the door, any fear, doubt, or worry I had was immediately left outside. We were greeted with a genuine welcome and every question we had was answered with a smile and a trustworthy attitude. With that visit, I had the opportunity to meet Katie Wafer, one of the owners and Jessie, who is a Kick-Ass nurse with southern charm. Babe and I were hooked. Jessie and Katie were amazing. We laughed, talked, and had the new Solange album playing in the background. It didn’t get any better than that. I was so caught up in the moment that I didn’t even flinch as Jessie inserted the IV. Our experience was beyond Amazing.

Who can Benefit?
IV therapy is key for persons experiencing the effects of dehydration or wanting to improve their overall health and wellness.
What Katie and Blake have done is completely amazing. All the work they have put into it completely expresses their passion. Katie said something to me that made me realize even more how important people are to her and the relationships that are built right here at the Hydrate IV Bar: “Watching our strong client base grow, share success stories, and refer their friends and family to Hydrate IV Bar is extremely rewarding!”
With that being said, go check them out, get hydrated, and experience a new quality of life. Health and wellness is important, and this experience is far too much fun to pass up. Check out their website for additional in depth information and of course follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and now you can download their app! Prices range from $99-$169. Memberships and a referral program are available. Open 7 days a week in Bonnie Brae neighborhood. Walk-in’s are welcome. Small, EASY, B12 injection is available for $30 for anyone wanting to try a vitamin boost first before committing to the full IV.
